Winter/Christmas Tag!

Hello Everyone!

It is officially December and I can't contain my excitement any longer for Christmas! I am in such a festive spirit and am currently  sat next to the Christmas tree, with the log fire on and a hot chocolate - my idea of heaven! If anyone has any other scrummy Christmas drinks for me to try then do let me know because I'm always up for a change:)

Today I am doing the Winter/Christmas tag to get my blog into a Christmas theme! My favourite time of year has to be on here somewhere! I hope you enjoy!

Top 2 Winter Beauty Essentials - I recently went to the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham which was an amazing day out (I MET JAMIE LAING oh my goodness) and in the Models Own goody bag I got some great little items - one being an essential product in my makeup routine at the moment which is the Models Own Bubblegum flavoured Lip Balm. It works wonders on my chapped lips and tastes amazing! The other would be a REALLY good, thick hand cream! I can't stand having dry hands so hand cream is ESSENTIAL  for me! My favourites are L'Occitane hand cream/balm and Soap and Glory Hand Food. 

❄ Top 2 Winter Fashion Essentials - This is a really hard one for me because I love switching up my look on a day to day basis! But I think I have narrowed it down to a few key pieces.. First of all a good, thick jacket - I love my duffle coat its super thick and cosy and it goes with everything! Secondly some sturdy winter boots, I have been obsessing over my Chelsea boots at the moment, I got them from Johnny Boden about 2 years ago and they are a beautiful beige leather colour. Lastly but definitely not least, who could forget the classic Christmas Jumper? I have so many thick jumpers and sweatshirts and they are all that I wear in Winter, I live in them. My favourite are the ones with fleece lining!

❄ What shoes do you tend to wear the most in the winter? - Sweatshirts and jumpers, and who could forget the Primark extra fluffy socks!

❄ Favorite Winter Accessory - At the moment I am in love with Tartan Scarves, they are one of my favourite trends this Winter.

❄ Favorite Winter Nail Polish - A dark burgundy or deep red/purple, black or very pale colour covered in a sparkly, glittery top coat! It screams Christmas to me!

❄ Hot Cocoa or Apple Cider? - This is a tricky one, even though I can't have cider I don't deny having a cheeky sip of my Mums apple cider at Christmas and I must admit it tastes amazing! However I think I'm going to have to go with Hot Chocolate covered with lashings of whipped cream, marshmallows and topped off with a chocolate Hobnob or Digestive, perfection.

❄ Favorite Winter Candle? - Hands down, Yankee Candle's Christmas Eve. Don't even consider buying anything else, it is Christmas in a jar and you don't even have to burn it for the whole room to smell like it, mmm I think I have an obsession...

❄ Snowboarding or Skiing? - I have only ever tried Skiing so I would have to go with that! I am sure Snowboarding is just as fun though! 

❄ Have you ever gone Ice Skating? Are you any good or do you FAIL miserably?

Yes of course! I prefer to skiing in January but THE BEST PLACE to go is the ice rink put up at Christmas at Somerset House, its is so beautiful and I HIGHLY recommend it!

❄ Does it snow where you live? - In England we only really get snow in January (and February last year I think?!) last year we got crazy amounts of snow so hopefully this year it will be just as good! I love snow!

❄ Have you ever made a snowman? - Everytime it snows we make snowmen! Last year we made a snow family in our drive and a giant snowman in the back garden, trust me when I say giant!

❄ What holiday do you celebrate? - This question just got me even more excited! My family celebrates together on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Eve (and on New Years Day we have a fry up, yummmm)

❄ Favorite Christmas/Holiday song? - I have WAY too many but this year my favourite is 'Oh Santa!' by Mariah Carey, it is so upbeat and jolly, herself and Michael Buble are the King and Queen of my Christmas Playlist.

❄ Favorite Christmas/Holiday movie? - I am sorry to disappoint all ELF  fans out there but I have never seen Elf... But my all time favourite is The Polar Express, watch it every Christmas Eve and I never get too old for it:)

❄ What is your favorite winter treat? (candy cane, gingerbread, etc…) - OOOooo last year we made a gingerbread house which was really scrummy! But my Mum and my sister have just really got into baking (too much Great British Bake Off I think;)) and they make a mean Sticky Toffee Sponge, so I would have to say that at the moment!

❄ If you were to ask Santa for one thing and you were guaranteed to get it, what would it be? (even if you don’t celebrate Christmas)

 I think this year it would have to be an iPhone so that Charlotte's Confashions can have its own Instagram etc. and then I could give you more blog posts on the go! Or I would ask that Christmas would last for ever! How awesome would that be! (i would probably be obese by the second day) 

❄ Do you have anything fun planned for this winter - Yes - A WHOLE LOTTA FUN! All of my grandparents are coming down at some point this Christmas which will be amazing because I rarely get to see them! And I am excited to announce that Charlotte's Confashions is getting a new member! Florrie my puppy is coming home this Saturday! She is an 8 week old Yellow Lab puppy, and she is BEAUTIFUL. So I guess playing with Flo and watching movies chilling by the fire!

She wouldn't sit still so this is the best photo we could  get of her!

Lastly I want to thank you all for the amazing support I have recieved since February! This year has flown by soooo quickly and I never thought I would have 80 followers like I do now, thank you! I have so many plans for 2014 and this blog is only going to get better and better!
